CADprofi 2026.07

We would like to inform that new version of CADprofi 2026.07 is available. Below you can find a quick overview of CADprofi 2026.07 changes:

CADprofi Electrical – Symbols - Extra-low voltage systems command

Low-current installation symbols have been separated into a dedicated command. This change provides better visibility of the libraries and faster access to the required elements.

The dedicated command includes symbols for:
  • fire protection systems (FIRE),
  • alarm and security systems (SSWiN, CCTV),
  • smart building systems (KNX/EIB, BMS),
  • telecommunication systems

CADprofi Electrical – Objects - Extra-low voltage systems command

All views of low-current equipment and cabinets can now be found in the command Objects – Extra-low volatege systems .

The library includes, among others:
  • RACK telecommunication cabinets (standing and wall-mounted) with accessories,
  • multimedia distribution boxes,
  • fire alarm control panels.

Separating this command allows for significantly faster navigation and immediate access to the required elements.

CADprofi Electrical – extension of the "Enclosure Selection" functionality

In the Switchgears command the functionality for selecting electrical enclosures has been expanded.

The selection mechanism has been enhanced with support for frame (system) enclosures. The new solution allows individual units to be combined into advanced assemblies, which in practice:
  • enables the creation of assemblies consisting of several compatible enclosures,
  • eliminates errors resulting from underestimating the space required for modular and industrial devices,
  • increases design flexibility and makes it possible to match the appropriate type of enclosure to the actual needs of the installation.

CADprofi Electrical – extension of the "Lighting protection systems" command

The "Lightning protection systems" command has been enhanced with a function for dynamic drawing of horizontal air terminals with automatic placement of connectors.

For objects with unusual geometry, it is now possible to define the drawing angle of the air terminals by indicating the building ridge and the roof area. This allows the installation to be adapted much faster and more precisely to the actual shape of the roof.

CADprofi HVAC & Piping – new version of "Plumbing objects - plan" command

The Plumbing objects - plan command has been redesigned and is now based on a dialog window with extended functionality.

Key changes and new features:
  • Additional views – the ability to insert objects in plan view (top) as well as in
    front and side views.
  • Insertion from a list – an option to insert multiple objects at once with a defined spacing, which significantly speeds up the work.
  • User objects – the ability to add custom elements to the program library.
  • Symbols for elevations – the ability to generate symbols based on objects previously inserted in the plan view.

All objects have been parameterized, allowing their dimensions to be easily edited.
The redesigned command provides greater flexibility and improves the design workflow.

CADprofi HVAC & Piping – Chemical and Petrochemical Industry library

The Symbols command has been enhanced with a library developed based on the ISO 10628-2 standard. It contains an extensive set of symbols for creating process diagrams (PFD/P&ID), including:
  • tanks, vessels and separators,
  • heat exchangers, steam generators and furnaces,
  • cooling towers and cooling equipment,
  • crushing and grinding machines, mixers and kneaders,
  • compressors, vacuum pumps and motors,
  • valves and safety fittings.

A unique functionality of the program is the ability to configure tanks – users can freely define their shape (selection of heads) and height (number of sections). Thanks to built-in connectors, the new symbols allow for quick and precise connection of pipelines.

CADprofi HVAC & Piping – “Sovent” special fitting

The Sewage system library has been expanded with the Sovent fitting. It is available in the PEHD pipe systems category (DN110 and DN160 diameters).

Example views of the fitting:

The use of the Sovent fitting provides a convenient connection point for branch pipes to the stack and effectively reduces the risk of negative pressure in the installation. This is particularly important in multi-storey buildings.

CADprofi OEM – ABB library update

The ABB library available in the CADprofi program has been expanded with products from the ABB Ability system, which provide a modern solution for digital energy management and electrical infrastructure monitoring.

The new product category includes, among others:
  • INSITE central control unit,
  • power supplies,
  • measurement module for CT current transformers,
  • wireless M-bus communication module,
  • LTE communication module,
  • digital modules,
  • industrial Gateway,
  • current sensors for the measurement system.

CADprofi OEM – Taconova library update

The Taconova library has been expanded with pump groups and a boiler room and heat node scheme creator. This tool allows for quick configuration of variants and selection of the installation components.

The creator functionality includes:
  • selection of the type of heat source,
  • specification of the number of buffer tanks (Tichelmann system),
  • selection of the type and number of pump groups.

The wizard generates technological diagrams fully compliant with the manufacturer’s application diagrams.

CADprofi OEM – OBO Bettermann library update

The OBO Bettermann library has been expanded with E90 system solutions, designed for designing cable routes with enhanced fire resistance.

The E90 system components allow for projects that require uninterrupted power supply and signal transmission during a fire. The system includes certified trays compliant with the E90 classification.

The introduction of these components enables precise placement of cable routes directly on electrical and low-current installation plans, in accordance with fire protection requirements.
