CADprofi tip for today – KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS!

Most important CADprofi keyboard shortcuts:

• CPX (previous CADprofi command) - allows you to quickly run the last used CADprofi command.

• CVP (clear drawing from unused definitions) - removes unused drawing elements, e.g. layers, block definitions, text styles, etc.

• CPED (CADprofi - edit) - allows for any edition of CADprofi symbols and objects. After entering the shortcut, the required object should be selected. A dialog window will be displayed where you can make the necessary changes.

• QED (quick edit) - allows you to run the quick edit command. Editing is done with markers (edit handles). It is possible, among others editing the length of pipes, ventilation ducts and standardized parts, changing the view, drawing lines of pipes and ducts, as well as scaling, copying, moving and others.

• CPDEL (delete symbols) - removes selected symbols and objects. When deleting elements inserted in lines, the program will connect them automatically.

• CPEXP (CADprofi - explode) - breaks (explodes) selected CADprofi blocks, allowing any drawing editing without losing information about exploded elements.

• CPINS (Insert similar object) - allows you to quickly insert a similar object. The command will open an appropriate dialog window that allows you to select an object from the category compatible with the source object.

• CPVIEW (Insert alternative view) - allows to quickly insert an additional view to a project for an indicated object. This option is useful e.g. for inserting a side view when drawing a cross-section.
